Independent Personal Trainers
Why use an
independent trainer? Simply put, I give much more to a client than a
gym employee would, because I believe in order for you to be successful, I
need to do that. Independents aren't pressured by sales quotas.
Moreover, you won't get the kind of in depth training from a gym employee
that you will get from me. I also don't like doing half a job,
and have set high standards for myself throughout my life, and see no
reason to stop now.
I have a passion for health and physical fitness. I’ve been active my entire life, have been
training for over 20 years, and am a masters body building competitor. I am
also a regular contributor to a number of health and fitness sites as well
as LifeSpan® magazine. I have appeared on Cablevision's Wellness Wheel
program..
I’ve
learned a lot over 20 years from trial & error, from people more
knowledgeable than myself, and from study. Now, I want to share that
information with you.
Build a Body for the New Millennium.
In my life time, I have watched sugar substitutes and fat
substitutes come on the market while the number of morbidly obese Americans
has risen. We’re a fatter nation now than we were even 10 years ago, and
certainly more so than 20 or 30 years ago! I’ve also watched the low fat
diet and the high carbohydrate diet come and go. Now, I’m watching the high
fat, no carbohydrate diet, and don’t expect Americans as a group to be any thinner once
this fad runs its course.
I am not a dietician, and can’t
‘prescribe’ a diet for you, but I can share with you the methods that have
worked for me. I have stayed lean through all these diet crazes. I must be
doing something right. Weight control is not rocket science, nor am I a
“genetic freak.” Whether you want to lose a few pounds of unwanted weight,
trim that waist line, or add dense muscular mass to your frame, let me share
with you what I’ve learned about how my body responds to foods.
